Latrobe Specialty Steel Distribution (LSSD) assists both customers in the oil patch and the nation’s toolmakers. LSSD offers North America’s widest range of tooling materials in cold work, hot work, Crucible Particle Metallurgy CPM® steels, high speed steels, mold steels, die casting steels, and alloy steels. These materials come in the broadest range of sizes and shapes. You can find tool steel and alloy steel bars up to 34-inch diameter and tool steel plates up to 12 inches thick.
For the oil patch, LSSD sells stainless and nickel bar ready in a wide range of sizes from its Houston and Mobile warehouses.

Alloy Steels
LSSD inventories a wide range of alloy steels from our “Deluxe” ground plate to the largest sizes of alloy bar in North America. Buy bar in sizes up to 34 inches in diameter, saw cut, trepanned, with in-house machining, and delivered as promised.
